I am just curious on your thoughts if which should be the barometer in deciding the true strength of a nation. I am aware that it is an interplay between the two. But should one be prioritize one over the other, which should be it? Personally, I think former is needed to obtain the latter.

Both military and economic greatness of a nation are equally important, and must be protected. A great nation consists of money-generating economy of people, human living organisms accountable for their nation's prosperity and pursuit of happiness. Within the law and order, the people's safety, security, and protection --the borders and its citizens from outside tyranny and lawlessness.

Economic power is more important. This guarantees security to the state and thus creates no need for military. Economic power provides good living standards, health services, education and advanced science for the people.
