Karma is a system used in Proboards (the server this forum is on) to, well, give karma where karma is due. If someone has helped you in any way, or you think that person is a particularly helpful, nice, kind person, you might want to give that person karma. You can also take away karma, but unless you're really, really brave, I wouldn't suggest doing it, as we all know what they say about karma.
Questions?
Just announced. Karma has just been replaced with a "like post" feature. Just click the little "thumbs up" icon if you like a post. I encourage it!

That is awesome. I thought of that recently because a couple of times on here I wanted to "like" a post like you can in other forums and social networks, then remembered you couldn't.
Nice add on!

It's actually not an add on, as it's been here all this time. And you're not really liking a post, but the writer. But I guess you could like a post. As you see, you currently have 13 KP's (karma points), and I have 16. You're about to catch up with me.

Just a notice, especially for you Jamie, that the Karma system has been replaced with a Like feature. So from now on, if you guys like a post, you can click the little "thumbs up" icon, and it will show that you liked a particular post. I like this much more than the Karma system.
