Summer is the best time of year to visit amusement parks. And, in many parts of the US, it is the only time that the amusement parks are open. They are great for all ages. From the tiny tots to the senior citizens...everyone can find something fun to do!
Have you been to an amusement park this year? What are some of your favorites?

I've been to an amusement park this year. It's a family park here in Salt Lake City called Lagoon. I lived in Florida for 5 years as well, so I've been to some good parks like Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, and the like. I hope to go to California when I get the money to experience some of the parks out there.

I have been to a fair amount of amusement parks in California. I now live in another state and the parks they have here are nothing special to right home about. We just went to Vally Fair last weekend and the kids seemed to enjoy it.

My favorite amusement park is one very local to me. It's called Knoebel's, and it's an old style amusement park with free parking and admission. It has cottages scattered throughout the park with little shops inside. Very inexpensive and there's something for all age groups.

I am 52 and I went to 3 amusement parks year in 2012. At all three, I had mystery shopping assignments to complete while at the park.
I have such fund memories of Cedar Point, in Sandusky, OH, from my childhood. So this year I took my daughter, two nieces and two brothers to the park. We had a blast.
I can still ride a roller coaster, just not the ones that shake my head or beat up on my body too much.
I think we will go back next year.
It's fond memories, not fund memories. Fund means a money account, or to raise money.
I hope this helps!

I haven't been to an amusement park in 3 years. My family and I went to Disneyland on vacation in May of 2010. I love amusement parks but since there aren't any near us, we don't get a chance to go often.
