Do you prefer to live in the city or country? What is best for raising children? What do they each have to offer? Like for instance, public transportation may be better in the city but parking may be better in the country.

There is always something to do. Everywhere you look you see an event happening or about to happen. You are never bored in the city.

Public transportation can be an issue for those who live in the country or in a small town, but I prefer country living. Children gain different skills and learn to rely on their imaginations and creativity for entertainment. The crime rate is also much lower in the country.

I prefer to live in a city by the sea. You will have all the advantages of the city in addition to enjoying the sea which can be a substitute to the tranquility of the countryside.

In the country. As always. Ever. We always can make-do with a lot of things, and enjoy them immensely. We go to the country's CBD for husband's work, and the years 11 and 12 school. The youngest ones homeschool with me. So, we're alright, loving nature life in the country. And my children seem to be wholesome and happy in their life's perspective.

I prefer the country, with a city in driving distance for day trips. My kids are being raised in a small rural town with low crime and good schools. But we can jump in the car and be at the city museums or theaters in an hour.

I prefer the country. While the city offers a lot of different experiences, the country offers the closeness of family and friends. You seem to bump into people you know everywhere you go. And you don't need the glitzy things the city offers; the peacefulness of the country is satisfying enough.

I love being in the city. I have enjoyed my time in the city. But as I'm getting older, I increasingly want to visit the countryside more and more. I love the fresh air and watching animals. They are very graceful.

I have no children, so I can't speak on that aspect. I lived in a large city for 20 years.
I moved to a small town 8 years ago. In my opinion, it was the best move I ever made. The answer differs for people with different needs. It all depends on your wants and desires.
Personally, I much prefer life in a small town. Your mileage may vary.

While doing a job or studying, I would prefer city living because everything is in close proximity, for example, close shops. On vacations, Country living will be better because their is always many things that need to be fixed in the house and other places like the garden.

I prefer living in a country. While Public Transport can be a problem, you always have neighbors when you need them. The air is much cleaner and you have much peace.

I've come to the conclusion that you need both. I grew up in a large city and currently live in a small town. I hate being secluded. The low cost of living is welcomed, however. Schools are usually better the closer you get to a city as well.

This will totally depend on what Country you live in. In the Philippines outback country living is not advisable. The reason for that is people like rebels, thieves, and many other dangers seem to happen in places where police are not regularly patrolling or keeping a permanent presence. So here the answer would be City Living.

It may be that I watch too many horror movies, but something about living in the seclusion of the country just freaks me out. I like people around me, even if they are just next door...and can help in an emergency.

It is relative. Some love rice, the next fellow loves pizza. No clear distinction for better or worse, depends on the fellow.
