There has been much debate surrounding online learning. The advancements in technology have allowed many working adults to return to school. However, the number of students attending traditional colleges has not decreased. I wonder if this trend will eventually eliminate the need to attend school onsite.

Even today you can see a great disrespect for online education degrees. The way employers look down when you tell them you were an attendee and graduate of an online school, the way people in general disregard your education once they find out it was an online degree. Unfortunately for them, I think it will become something of the norm.

I think online learning and onsite learning should work hand in hand. Yes, we definitely still need the practical classroom learning, for now, however, the internet is a great tool to assist with learning owing to the vast wealth of information that can be found on it.
