Here are my guidelines on writing threads and posts. 1. Posts must be 25 but not more than 50 words. 2. Subject title must not be longer than 5 words, 3 or 4 are preferred. 3. Each and every word must be spelled correctly. 4. Correct grammar must be used. 5. Correct punctuation must be used. 6. No slang, no lol, lmao or other abbreviations, no smiley faces. 7. Every I must be capitalized. 8. The first letter of every sentence must be capitalized. 9. One or two spaces after a period (your choice), one after a comma. 10. Do not write in all caps. If you're trying to show excitement or emotion, use an exclamation point at the end. This applies to underlined words also. 11. Use the spell check feature before you submit your post! 12. DO NOT PM ME WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED YOUR TEST POSTS. SIMPLY FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS AND POSTING IN THE "SHOW YOUR STUFF" BOARD IS ADEQUATE. FROM THIS POINT ON, PM'S SENT TO ME OR TO THE MOD ABOUT YOUR BEING FINISHED WITH THE TEST POSTS, WILL BE AUTOMATIC GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL!!!
Remember, to become a professional forum poster, you have to write like a professional. I'm seeing writers who are misspelling words, who aren't placing spaces between sentences and commas, who are writing run-on sentences and more.
You will not progress any further in the company unless you write like a professional. There is a spell check feature at the end of every message box that you should be using before posting your message.
I'm not going to keep reminding people to write correctly.
One more thing. I'm seeing too many threads with the same general idea. For instance, I saw 3 threads on the chaos in Japan. That just makes for more work for me, combining the 3 into one. Remember, a good writer searches before starting a new thread. There should only be one thread on each general idea.

Sometimes I get really passionate about a subject and I write and write without realizing that I've written an essay. What if I made a post that is more than 50 words? Would that be acceptable?

When the client pays us, he's paying for a certain number of 25 word posts. While we want to give the client what he/she has paid for, we don't want to give away material. I would suggest trying to stick to no more than 50 words (although an occasional longer post isn't something I'm going to blow my top about). However, if every other post is more than 50 words, then we might have a problem.

I am very excited to begin working for your company. I hope that I am able to write well and excel in the company. I love writing and I think this will be a great oppertunity for me.

I have a question. Are singular letters also considered as 1 word, like "I", in "I am" or "a" in "a car"?

I understand the part about fulfilling the needs of the client and not wasting too much of the company's resources in making walls of text. However, I think, when starting a new thread, there should be more leeway. After all, the opening post is supposed to lay the groundwork for the thread so it takes probably more than 50 words to achieve the result. You can see an example of what I mean here: proforumposters.proboards.com/thread/908/increase-post-countWhat do you think?

If I write a post that is, say, 130 words, and it's necessary to have that many words to explain something correctly, can I split it up into 2 or 3 posts, or would that be wrong to do?

I would love to hear your words on this dear Billy/Renee. It's like I fall in this category. Is it ok to split up a write-up longer than the normal 25-50 worded works? Thanks

Hello Bill and Renee. Please check out my thread and posts on my profile. Hope it's good? Some of the write-ups are 50words and a little above 50 but I'm very sure non is up to 60 or 70(could be mistaken though)
Please give me your review on my thread on List of God's that have been forgotten.

Hello, I frequently post on political forums. Can I be assigned to that task, assuming I make the cut? Though, I would be fine with any paying placement.
